Fear of Heights

A superior opponent looks like a giant across the net.

One’s court feels huge, the opponent’s court smaller.

The net, quite high.

Realize that it is a matter of perspective and of viewpoint.

Do this drill: locate the four corners of the court, then the four upper corners of the fence.

Then the four corners of the sky, as far as you can see.

If you are indoors, the four corners of the ceiling.

Realize that that is YOUR space.

Use it, create within it, and let your opponent take care of whichever he considers his own.
